Full screen camera

Pure is a full screen camera app. Built with the latest native Apple framework, Pure removes the excess black bars that can take up valuable screen space. With every capture (photo & video), your Pure camera outputs result to the exact dimentions of your device.

How does it work?

Before capture, Pure shows you the camera preview as an edge-to-edge, full screen view. Unnessary tools, black bars, or buttons are omitted. Pure tapers the capture to the exact dimensions of the detected device in which it is capturing.

After pressing the circle button, you are shown the media you captured. It is critical Pure follows WYSIWYG: What you see is what you get.

This allows you to use Pure on any device and it be a perfect fit for the dimensions of your screen.

Why so simple?

The simplicity behind capturing a full screen photo or video builds on Pure’s value of minimalism.

Viewing the photos and videos captured with Pure camera in the gallery puts into full display the nature of the full screen camera. Photos and videos open full screen, be it in your Pure gallery, Apple gallery, and everywhere else. This allows Pure photos and videos to uniquely show up across the Apple ecosystem as an emersive, pixel-by-pixel curated experience.

How does this differ from the Apple camera?

The iPhone screen got tall, and the Apple camera kept a 4:3 photo. Open it and the first thing you see is empty space black around a smaller picture.

Pure is the opposite. Pure uses the entire device’s available screen space to display the preview and capture.
